At Core Image we dedicate ourselves to learning and sharpening our skills more in the digital sphere of design, specifically web design and web development.

Web design is a very individualistic thing, the client will always have a specific idea in their mind about how they want their site to look, and so as a web design company we provide draft copies of how we interpret what the client wants, and encourage feedback from the client. Web design is a very fluid and organic process which is why we have for so long steered away from the trend seen too often amoung other design companies who offer a package deal of 3 pages with only 3 images per page by way of example. We prefer to design something the client can feel proud of, and at the same time feel adequately represents their company or interest on the Web. With this in mind, we allow the graphical content to determine the flow and design of the site, and don't put too many limitations on this. Essentially the Internet is a visual medium, and sites with drab graphics tend not to hold visitors for long. However, a site with too much graphical content can be overdrowded and slow to download which also confuses the visitors eye, and frustrates them, so the correct balance needs to be found. While we proclaim to have perfected this science, we certainly make every effort to find the balance and develop our skill in this area.

- Our website offerings come in two sizes, both priced to suit SMMEs, and entrepreneurial endeavours budget constraints;
- Mini Site: This site is aimed at the client who only wants a basic small 3 to 5 page website, which closely resembles a static online brochure, typically consisting of a home page, a contact page and some produt/services content pages, with possible images of the product or service they offer. The basic cost for the design and origination up to uploading the files to the host server would cost your company from ZAR 2800.00. - Midi Site: This site has additional options and suits the individual or company that want the next step beyond a static website, and desire some sort of interactivity with the visitors. This site would typically consist of 10 to 15 pages of content and gallery type . Core Image subscribe to using Joomla as our Content Management System (CMS) of choice. The site you are currently on was built with Joomla. It is suprisingly versatile, and has many varying applications, from full scale ecommerce enabled sites to even a plain brochure type site with added functionality, or images which need to be added to rapidly. Choose from having a forum, a gallery, a blog style site, and much more. Including a custom site design, and the initial setup, plus a basic training on how to edit your own content on your site should you wish to have that control, will cost your company from ZAR3500.
